Type specimen: Holotype MPUP VILL026, Paratypes MPUP VILL027-VILL029, VILL049-VILL051, Université de Provence, Marseilles. Its type locality is Serre de Bleyton, Arnayon, which is in a Barremian submarine fan marl in France.

Ecology: slow-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore
